Candidate Profile:

• Candidate should be interested in working with immigrant and refugee populations
• Candidate should be able to communicate basic math and algebra concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles
• Previous math tutoring experience is preferred but is not essential

Primary Duties Include:

• Tutor adult immigrant students preparing for higher education
• Work one-on-one or with small groups
• Materials are provided

Time Commitment:

• 4 hours/week (2 two-hour sessions)
• Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. for the duration of the course
